Date Sugar and Honey Date Balsamic Glazed Pork Loin - Slow Cooked

Date Recipes

We thought we would mix it up a little and make a main dish that highlights our Balsamic Honey Date Vinaigrette and our popular date sugar. We decided on a date sugar and honey date balsamic glazed pork loin. And we will be using a crock pot for added it a nice long slow cook will really tinder up that pork loin. We typically make more then what we will eat for dinner. The left overs are just as good!

1/2 cup of water...will be used separate from other 1/2 cup
2 tbsp. of Soy sauce
Cherry sauce and mushrooms for garnish

Recipe will make 8 servings

Balsamin Honey Date Vinegar

Need to make your rub first. So mix the salt, pepper, garlic and sage in a small bowl. Then thoroughly rub your pork loins with the mixed- dry rub. Place in the slow cooker with the 1/2 cup of water. Setting should be on low and will need to cook for 6-8 hours.

With an hour left into the cook or before the loins are done you will need to start making your glaze. Take the date sugar, cornstarch, honey date balsamic, room temp water and soy sauce and mix them in a small sauce pan. Place on the stove on low and stir until you have a nice thick consistent sauce.

During the last hour or so of your cook you will take the glaze and brush liberally on the loin. Repeat 2-3 times prior to the roast being done.

Garnish with your favorite green, mushrooms and cherry sauce. Add additional honey date glaze balsamic mix if desired.
